Beautiful Boudoir Shoot

I was recently contacted by Georgia Feeley of Pompadour Garters.
She creates gorgeous luxury lingerie, garters and nightwear for Bride & Boudoir. She asked if I would supply some of my veils for her photoshoot which was being photographed by the very talented Andrea Denniss of Pinklily Photography.

I duly sent off a few diffferent styles of veils not knowing exactly what was wanted or how the veils would be shot.  The result was stunning! What a fabulous way to showcase wedding veils and lingerie.

 I love this photograph for its period feel. It really does look like an original image from the 1930s. Absolutely gorgeous!

Happy Bride!

I love seeing pictures of my brides in their full wedding outfit. They always look so gorgeous and happy.

I recently received this picture from Lucie who was married last June. What a stunning picture.
She is wearing a long, soft, silk tulle wedding veil, edged with gorgeous French lace.

My veil has just arrived.

It was worth every penny. It is absolutely beautiful.

The skill and quality is second to none.  I'm overwhelmed!
I can't wait to wear it now!

Et Voila! Weddings Launches The French Wedding Show
    
Et Voilà ! Weddings is very excited to announce The French Wedding Show 2013 !

The event, targeted to UK couples planning their wedding in France, will bring together the best wedding suppliers and vendors, coming from France to meet with destination brides and grooms-to-be.

The French Wedding Show will be a unique opportunity for the couples considering a wedding in France or already in the planning of their wedding in France to meet with local vendors and to get to see, hear, try or test their produtcs and services.

Among the vendors attending the show : DJs, bands, hair stylists, make up artists, wedding cake designers, celebrants,… high end vendors specifically selected by Et Voilà for their quality and their adequation with the special requirements of a destination wedding in France.

Grandma's Vintage Veil

                             original 1940s veil

A little while ago I was approached by a Bride's mother.  She asked if I could make a replica of a veil worn by the Brides's grandmother. The veil was from the early 1940s but had unfortunately been damaged. The veil was very wide, made from silk tulle and had the most beautiful applique and embroidery on each corner. The original is above. Quite a challenge!
